My daughter attends college in upstate New York. The winter there has been incredibly cold, snowy and windy. She took her usual winter coats but none of them kept her warm so I went online and found the NorthFace Denali jacket at BackcountryStore.com. She received it within 7 days and has been loving it ever since. It keeps her cozy warm and she can be outside for extended periods of time without freezing. Thank you. I really enjoy the northface denali jacket. It is very versatile and can be worn as a light fleece or a winter coat in mild winters. It is very stylish and comfortable and can be worn with layers, in fact I like wearing layers with it underneath. I am very pleased and love it. I attend college and you'll notice everyone has one and says the same thing---they love it too!!! It is not too expensive and is SO worth the money. In fact, I am considering buying another one in a different color!!!! I bought the womens NorthFace Denali jacket for a 7-day backpack trip in the CO Rockies. I wanted to pack as light as possible, but have the most warmth possible since I cannot stand the cold. We camped at 12,300 feet a couple of nights, without a camp fire - it was in the 20's. I actually stayed warm in that jacket, with only a polyprop and light shirt underneath. The wind gusts in these areas got very very strong and I still stayed reasonably warm. I am going to take it on all my hikes (unless something lighter and reasonably priced comes along). Thanks. Good Northface Pumori jacket, really lightweight, comfortable, warm, and durable. Can be a little cool in a high wind though. I looked on the internet and in a variety of stores for the best price for this Northface Pumori fleece jacket and found it here on this site. Their site was very user friendly, and the price was exactly what I was looking for. Once I received the fleece I was VERY happy with the purchase. Excellent Northface Pumori fleece jacket. Delivered exactly as ordered. Can't stop wearing it. For a lightweight jacket, the northface pamir windstopper is incredibly warm. I gave it a test run on a windy 30 degree day on a three hour hike, and stayed comfortable. It has become one of my favorite jackets. Funny, I couldn't find this jacket at the NorthFace store in Chicago (in my size) but found it here. Great fleece, roomy, functional, warm and easily washable. North Face makes good stuff, worth the $$ if you can see beyond the current popularity of North Face as a bit of a status symbol. Buy it for the functionality, quality and for fun, the looks !! A good investment. This northface pamir windstopper jacket is good, although it wouldn't hurt if it was made of a bit thicker fleece. |
