Zen: The Kelty Zen 3-Season Tent is a huge hit with backpackers and bicycle tourers alike for its amazing sub-5 pound weight. This tunnel-style, two-person tent is certainly compact. But a tall rear arch provides excellent internal volume. And it includes a roomy vestibule to stow your gear. A classic tunnel tent at a great price. The greater value is brought to you by using a slightly lower grade of aluminum pole. But unless you're camping in a wind tunnel test site, you definitely won't know the difference. Kelty Tents.

Mantra: The Kelty Mantra Tent is the roomiest of the more affordable freestanding-style backpacking tents. The three-pole design adds a little weight, but if you "need your space", a few extra ounces will be well worth the effort. Again, like the Tao and Zen, the Mantra saves you cash by offering aluminum poles at a fiberglass pole price. The Kelty Mantra 3-Season Tent is basically the Cyclone Tent without the spendy poles, or the WINDFORCE and FLYBOY technology. It's a sturdy and roomy tent at a very good price.

Streamside Camping Tent: The two pole, freestanding, rectangular shaped Kelty Streamside Tent offers excellent space and comfort for the backpacker or car camper. The Streamside tents also has generous amounts of mesh for superior ventilation and viewing. Kelty Streamside Tent Features: Two pole free-standing. Large, no-see-um mesh ceiling and window panels for ventilation. Full-coverage rainfly with stakeout vestibule. Streamside 2: 9 mm Fiberglass poles. Streamside 3: 10.5 mm Fiberglass poles. Kelty Camping Tents.

Cyclone: Why is the Kelty Cyclone 3-Season Tent more spacious than other freestanding models? The addition of a third pole. The three-pole design might add a little weight. But it also provides more headroom and creates a less claustrophobic feeling a serious consideration when you're expecting to wait out a few storms. But the luxury doesn't end there. They've thrown in two separate doors and vestibules so you can come and go without crawling over your tent mate's face. What's more, it even has a full mesh ceiling for superior ventilation. And on warm, dry nights, you can ditch the fly and enjoy the stars. If having a ton of vestibule space and a roomy interior are your chief concerns, the Kelty Cyclone 3-Season Tent is your top choice .

Vortex: The Kelty Vortex 3-Season is Kelty's best selling tent. Its vaulted two-pole dome is a little less spacious than the Cyclone. However it is the absence of a third pole that makes this tent the obvious choice for the weight-conscious adventurer. But like the Cyclone, The Vortex has two separate doors and large vestibules to boot. So don't let the space issue scare you one bit. After all, The Vortex is their best selling tent. Can 4 trillion people be wrong? For the somewhat weight-conscious adventurer who wants to split the difference between a smaller, lighter tent and a roomier (yet heavier) tent.

Tao: The Kelty Tao 3-Season Tent is essentially a freestanding-style alternative to the tunnel-style Zen. So in other words, it's all about personal preference. This 2-person tent provides ease-of-use in the form of color-coded pole clips to steer you through when your brain is running in neutral. And like the Zen, it offers aluminum poles at a fiberglass pole price. This is a very capable and lightweight camping tent at a terrific price. And don't let the price fool you. The Kelty Tao 3-Season Tent will stand up to any storm that rolls your way.

Dart Ultralight: The Kelty Dart 2 Ultralight Tent. If you're planning on bringing a partner, you better be lovers. The Dart 2 is a tight squeeze at best. Unless you are a munchkin, you won't be able to sit upright. But there is an ample vestibule for gear storage. Although ultralight single-walled tents have a reputation for accumulating condensation in humid climates, the Dart has proven to be the most breathable in its class. We recommend this tent for less humid climates for better performance. And at a mere 2.75 pounds, you'll hardly know it's on board. Light and fast travel at its absolute extreme
