Slickrock: The NorthFace Slickrock 2-man Ultra Light Backpacking Tent is by far the slickest tent in the NorthFace arsenal, and an innovative approach to reducing weight. The designer of the Slickrock tent envisioned summer bike touring and light hiking until Conrad Anker took the Slickrock to 20,000 feet and proved it could withstand an assault of high alpine environment. The NorthFace Slickrock 2 person Ultralight tent features: Freestanding batwing half-fly design saves weight and pitches in a flash. DAC Featherlite aluminum poles. Fully continuous pole sleeves and pole pockets increase structural integrity and ease pitching. Color-coding of tent poles to pole sleeves/pole sleeve binding and canopy webbing to fly sheet webbing eases pitching and ensures correct set up. Compression stuffsack reduces entire tent to the size of a loaf of bread for easy packing. Dual doors provide easy accessibility and venting options. Full-coverage polyester taffeta fly sheet is UV resistant as well as seam-taped and polyurethane-coated for waterproofness Roadrunner 2: For biking, backpacking and adventure travel requiring lightweight, compact shelter, the two-person Roadrunner 2 can't be beat! NorthFace Backpacking Tents. Talus: The NorthFace Talus 23 is a compact 3-season tent perfect for you and a mate. With the Talus 23, you'll each enjoy the convenience of separate doors and separate vestibules. Pitching the Talus 23 is a snap as well with only 3 light aluminum poles to worry about and a color-coded canopy & flysheet webbing so you know how it all connects. Clipped poles and large overhead mesh panels provide improved circulation between the canopy & fly as well as semi-continuous airflow for climate control. Fully continuous pole sleeves and pole pockets increase the Talus 23's stability and also facilitate pitching. The full-coverage polyester taffeta flysheet is UV resistant as well as seam taped and PU-coated for waterproofness. Floor space is precious, so there are internal pockets to keep your stuff organized and out of the way (keys, headlamp, etc.), but consider a Gear Loft #1 (our item no. TNF0094) for additional hanging storage with easy access. If the weather's really warm, use the poles to pitch just the fly over the footprint for a weight-saving shelter. A Talus 23 footprint protects the bottom of your tent from sharp rocks and other abrasives. Bottom Line: For its superb NorthFace quality, the Talus 23 is a great value. Nebula : The NorthFace Nebula Conversatile Tent is a 2 person, 4 season convertible tent. Versatile pitching options and removable features allow set-up flexibility in variable weather conditions. The polyester ripstop fly sheet is polyurethane coated and seam-taped for waterproofness, and the doorside canopy panels use coated fly fabric for additional protection when pitched without vestibules. Dual doors provide easy accessibility and cross-venting. Bottom Line: Conditions don't matter, this tent is unflappable. Is it raining, sunny, snowing? Don't worry bout it, pack up a Nebula. Rock 22: The NorthFace Rock 22 Tent is a simple, lightweight backpacking tent for two. Two-pole support and continuous sleeves ensure easy pitching after a long day on the trail. DAC 7001-T6 aluminum poles are incredibly strong, and with no inserts, are less susceptible to failure. Comes complete with a compression stuffsack to keep loads small and tight. The VE 25 is engineered to withstand the extreme conditions of high-altitude alpine envirornments. A full coverage rainfly includes pole-supported front vestibule with snowflaps to keep old man winter from nibbling at your toes, and a stake out rear vestibule for stowing that bulky winter gear. Tough as nails on the outside, the VE 25 is the port in the storm on the inside, with it's big-guy floor plan and arched ceilings. Taped, seam tensioned true bathtub floors offer the clean angles and usable space of a catenary cut without requiring seam sealing, and an unmatched 5-layer waterproof coating makes sure you stay dry in the wettest of conditions. The alpine standard, the VE 25 is the tent you'll want to be in when the weather throws it's worst at you. Recon Day Pack:The NorthFace Recon backpack is a ridiculously good looking daypack perfect for ANYONE and subsequently one of The NorthFace's top-sellers. The Recon is excellent for hiking and biking or for less amusing activities like commuting to work and going to class. With backpacks, comfort is key. To that end, the Recon features contoured shoulder straps, a thick foam backpanel with mesh ventilation, a hipbelt and sternum strap. It also has a mesh pocket for a bike helmet and a cell phone pocket strategically placed on the shoulder strap. There are plenty of accessory pockets to tote a Leatherman tool, calculator, water bottles, or whatever your adventure du jour requires. NorthFace Backpacks. Yavapai:The NorthFace Yavapai backpack is an ideal school pack featuring The NorthFace mega-organizer, water bottle pockets and contoured suspension. Stamina 70:The NorthFace Stamina 70 Backpack mirrors the natural movements of the body in motion making for a comfy, natural feeling hike no matter how much weight you're carrying.
